Isolated High-Performance Miniature
BioAmplifiers: i-ECG, i-EEP, i-EMG, i-EEG, i-DIP™ 100 series

Compact, Low-noise, Truly Differential, High-gain and Wide-dynamic Range!
Isolated differential signal path and
grounds;
Low noise & high input impedance;
Built-in 50/60 Hz-selectable notch
filter (except i-DIP)
Built-in high and low pass filter (5-
position each);
Directly pluggable to
ThinkWave ™data acquisition
systems or used alone;
High gain up to 10 4 (or 107 when
connected to ThinkWave™ data
acquisition systems);
Compact, measuring only 8.5x6.0
x2.2cm or 3.35x2.38x0.85in;
The high performance, miniature differential bio-amplifier series (i-ECG, i-EEP, i-EMG, i-EEG,
i-DIP™
100) integrate many functions and are designed for various signal processing &
conditioning needs in life sciences (electrocardiogram, evoked potentials,
electroencephalogram, electromyogram, extracellular potentials in isolated bio-preparations)
and differential probing/. They feature low-noise, wide dynamic range, selectable gains,
zero adjustment, and optically isolated signal path and grounds, which enhance both
signal-to-noise (SN) ratio and safety. The built-in selectable (50/60Hz) notch filter for all the
bio-amplifiers (except i-DIP 100) further enhances SN ratio in various clinical/laboratory
conditions. The input stages of the bio-amplifiers are truly differential, which helps to
achieve high common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR). This is in contrast to many competitive
bio-amplifiers in which the input stages are pseudo differential.

The compact bio-amplifiers can be worn on belt, placed on a lab desk, or mounted on a
micro-manipulator using an adapting rod (optional).

The bio-amplifiers work seamlessly with the ThinkWave™ 1600-4/8 data acquisition
systems, which provide powerful digital recording, display, and analysis function, as well
additional digitally selectable gain up to 1000. For stand-alone applications, a power supply
and output interface box (optional) is needed for recording without the data acquisition
systems. The inputs to the bio-amps are through standard 2mm connector jacks.
